COVID-19 Vaccine – What you need to know

With the rollout of vaccinations coming soon to the community, many people have questions on different matters as it pertains to them, their families and those closest to them.  Information these days is coming at breakneck speeds and can leave your head spinning most of the time.

Every news outlet and social media page is giving you an insight from their perspective or concerns, some of which may be useful, but also some of which may cause confusion. Many more questions are being asked rather than answered. As our community is in its own unique situation, we should be looking for the answer to our questions from within rather than outside sources.

To help, the Kahnawà:ke COVID-19 Medical Advisor, Dr. Gauthier, has researched and written a question-and-answer document that helps us answer many of the questions we all face:

Is the vaccination mandatory?

What COVID-19 vaccines are available in Canada?

How affective are the different vaccines?

What are the side effects?

These are just some of the questions that can be answered in the FAQ section of this site.

All this information can be found at covid-19.kmhc.ca/vaccine-faq/
